KBCE (Korean British Cultural Exchange) Refund Policy
The Korean British Cultural Exchange (KBCE) organises a range of cultural events aimed at promoting understanding and collaboration between Korean and British communities. We aim to offer quality experiences for all attendees, but we also acknowledge that plans can change. Our refund policy aims to balance our commitment to our attendees with the necessity of covering operational costs.
Refund Policy:
-
Pre-event Refund Requests:
-
Attendees who wish to cancel their event registration and request a refund must do so at least 3 days prior to the event date.
-
All refund requests should be sent to info@kbce.org.uk with the subject line "Refund Request - [Event Name]".
-
Refunds will be processed within 7 business days from the date of request.
-
-
Post-event Refund Requests:
-
Attendees who attended the event and wish to request a refund must do so within 24 hours following the conclusion of the event.
-
Attendees can initiate this process by speaking directly to the event organisers on the day or by sending an email to info@kbce.org.uk.
-
Refunds processed post-event will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be subjected to deductions based on incurred expenses.
-
Reasons for this Policy:
-
Operational Costs: Organising events incurs significant costs. From venue bookings to equipment rentals, catering, and staffing, many expenses are paid in advance and are non-refundable to us.
-
Planning & Logistics: Last-minute cancellations can affect the overall experience for other attendees, including seating arrangements, catering orders, and material preparations. This policy ensures we have sufficient time to adjust.
-
Financial Integrity: To maintain the financial health of the KBCE and ensure that we can continue organising high-quality events for our communities, it's essential to have a clear and consistent refund policy.
-
Equity & Fairness: While we wish to remain flexible for our attendees, it's crucial that our policy is equitable and uniform for all participants. This ensures everyone is treated fairly.
Exceptions: If there are exceptional circumstances that prevent you from attending, such as serious illness or a family emergency, please reach out to us directly, and we will consider your request on a case-by-case basis.
